Students can earn credit for:
- College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
- College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests
- International Baccalaureate (IB) tests
Minimum score requirements apply
Once credit is awarded on a student's academic record, it cannot be reversed

ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) EXAMINATION

Official College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Score Report must be on file with the Admissions and Records Office
Advanced Placement (AP) Scores will be evaluated for credit earned
- This adds to the total cumulative units which will affect registration dates of continuing students
- This does not affect any GPA calculation
Advanced Placement (AP) Scores credit can:
- Clear course prerequisites
- Meet certificate and/or degree major requirements
- Meet Chaffey College AA/AS general education requirements
- Meet CSU general education requirements
- Meet IGETC general education requirement
The following cannot be used:
- High School Advanced Placement (AP) courses
- Advanced Placement (AP) test scores on high school or other college transcripts
Please reference the Advanced Placement (AP) Exams section of the Chaffey College catalog for minimum score requirements and Chaffey College course equivalencies
Requests will be processed with in seven (7) business days
Email notification will be sent when each evaluation is completed

Before submitting this form, please order your official test scores and verify that the Chaffey College Admissions and Records Office has received it. You can verity that your score report has been received in two ways.
