Articulation Agreement
Statement of Intent: This agreement enables students to receive college credit and/or a waiver of a prerequisite for coursework at the secondary level comparable to courses offered by Chaffey College. Course Articulation is based upon the achievement of competencies through a course, or courses, as defined herein, which specifies the conditions of the course's articulation agreement.
Terms of Agreement: The high school articulation agreement shall remain in effect for a period of 2 years unless terminated by Chaffey College or modified through mutual consent of all partners involved. The high school must notify Chaffey College and resubmit the High School Articulation Form if any changes are made to the course assessment, outline, or materials. This review will include an examination of up-to-date course outlines and agreement at the close of any school year by proper written notice delivered to the High School Articulation department or to the Superintendent of the secondary or ROP educational institution.
Procedures and/or Criteria for Course Articulation: The high school/ROP teacher will initiate participation in the articulated course through the CATEMA online database. Students will complete the Chaffey College online application and enroll in the course via CATEMA When the student has passed and earned a grade of "B" or better, the high school/ROP teacher will recommend students for credit on CATEMA.
